There has been an increase in exhibitions featuring women photographers, highlighting different genres such as documentary and street photography. Reflecting on my collection of photobooks, I mention a number of artists including Viviane Maier, Jodi Bieber and Viviane Sassen. It is important to recognize and appreciate the importance of women's contributions to photography.
